How we work
Agree Date
if you know your date we can check availability, otherwise we can work with you to find a suitable date or give you a range of dates. Our busiest days of the week are Thursdays, and Saturdays and usually need to be booked further ahead.
Number of guests
We'll need to know how many guests we will have to ensure we have the right amount of wine. Our normally minimum numbers are 10, otherwise we have run tasting's for over 200 guests in the past! If you have fewer than 10 we can still run the tasting but we will need to charge for 10 guests. We do ask that you confirm numbers 7 days in advance, although we can often cater for last minute increases.
Venue
We can run the tasting at your home or at any alternative venue. Wine tasting's run in restaurant usually need to be in a private room. Many will offer the room free of charge, provided you stay to eat.
Food
We suggest water biscuits and water as a minimum. Cheese selections can often be worked into the tasting. If you want to have other food please feel free, however hot spicy food should be avoided.
The Wine Tasting
We provide all wine tasting glasses, spittoons and tasting notes. A qualified ThirtyFifty Wine Consultant will run the tasting. Our wine tasting's are approximately 2 hours long but can be quicker or longer as required.
Payment
We accept credit cards, cash or cheque either in advance..
