Wine Tasting at Home

A wine tasting party is a fun original way to entertain at home - and is a great excuse to bring friends together and introduce new people - with the wine amd conversation flowing a good time is guaranteed.

Whether the tasting is for education or fun we get the balance just right. Wine tasting can be run during a dinner party or with finger food or cheese at home or we are happy to go to any restaurant with a private room. Wine tastings work brillantly as an event for a special occasion such as a birthday, wedding aniversary or as a great hen party idea.

Our wine tastings are innovative and interactive, pitched at a level that ensures everyone learns something new, while having fun.

At the tasting you'll pick up tips and tricks about wine, you will compare styles and grape varieties, learn how to taste and spot quality. We usually taste two of the wines blind - can you guess the grape and where the wine is from?

Wine Tasting Themes

Our wine tasting can be themed a number of ways. You may want to try a range of wines from around the world, or perhaps you have wondered how Australian wines stack up, our Australia versus the world tasting is for you. For those who know Australia has the best wines you can explore the regional diversity in our Australian tasting.

Whether you want to learn the basics or add to your wine knowledge - everyone will pick up new information.

You and your guests will learn how to taste wine and spot quality in wines. We normally taste 8 wines to taste - 4 whites, 3 reds and a desert wine or port and usually 2 of them you'll taste blind. Wine tasting notes are provided for you to rate each wine as you taste it.

Wine tasting packages

All our wine packages are based on a tasting fee for $25 per person plus the cost of the wine.

Australian Wine Tasting Groups of 10+ A great way to discover the different styles of wine available from the key regions of Australia. The tasting fee is $25 per person plus the cost of the wine. Choose the Silver Wine Package @ $140 per group of 15 guests or Gold Wine Package @ $180 per group of 15.

Australia vs the Rest of the World Groups of 10+ A chance to see how Australian wine compares with its Old World counterparts and New World cousins. The tasting fee is $25 per person plus the cost of the wine. Choose the Gold Wine Package @ $180 per group of 15 guests or Platinum Wine Package @ $220 per group of 15.

International Wine Tasting Groups of 10+ If you mostly drink Australian let us show you what other winemaking nations from around the world have to offer. The tasting fee is $25 per person plus the cost of the wine. Choose the Gold Wine Package @ $180 per group of 15 guests or Platinum Wine Package @ $220 per group of 15.

 

When we can run a wine tasting

You can arrange a wine tasting for any day of the week - or time. Think about who you want to invite friends, family, neighbors or colleagues - a night in with the girls on a Thursday, friends over for dinner on Saturday or even a lazy Sunday afternoon tasting with a BBQ!

If you prefer we can come to a venue of your choice, such as a bar or restaurant, provided it has a function room or separate space.
